New Job: Gauranteed Adventures Ahead!!

Today was my second day at my new summer job: BC Campus School.

When we heard the Patriots were having their last practice in the BC football stadium, we knew we had to find a way for our students to meet them. As we packed up the wheelchairs for the 5 students in our classroom, we realized we didn't have a plan for how we would get close to the Patriots. Luckily, today was nice enough outside that the 45 minutes we spent running around Alumni Stadium didn't affect the students. We tried gate after gate, and after many failed attempts at batting our pretty eyes, we got a tip from a reporter.

"They are about to leave from the back."

With that, we took off running with our 5 students and their wheelchairs, through the parking garage (thankfully there were no cars), up the garage ramp (sticking close to the right side in a single file), and to the back of Alumni Stadium where we caught some of the players walking to their cars. As the students smiled and shook hands with the players, I was suddenly star struck when I heard a familiar name.

"Hi, I'm Tom."

I looked over and Tom Brady was standing beside me smiling. What was there for me to say but, "Come on, who doesn't know that you're Tom Brady. How are you?" I introduced my students to him and he was nice enough to pose for some photos with everyone. (He's much cuter in person, I swear!!)

Take a look at some of the photos:

Brady was so down to Earth and so very handsome.

He felt very comfortable with the students; everyone couldn't stop smiling. :)

When we left, a few reporters asked us some questions about what made us go down to the stadium. Check out the article that was written up from ESPN: http://es.pn/j9At4C

How's that for a 2nd day at work?? :)
